It’s a time to gather – heart to heart, soul to soul, in Spirit, celebration, reflection,and dedication – whether you join us in person or from afar.
On Easter Sunday, 20 April 2025, we’ll be celebrating a truly special moment in
the history of the Park Ecovillage Findhorn as we gather, in person, or online, to celebrate the opening of the Sanctuary.
This beautiful new space, designed to hold up to 80 meditators, stands as a symbol of our collective resilience and renewal, replacing the much-loved sanctuary that graced this site for 53 years before the fire in April 2021.
Its creation has been a true labour of love and community endeavour, shaped by years of community visioning, attunements, donations, and collective action.
Light of Findhorn Sanctuary holds a deep invitation for meditators to connect with their core Source, and all of us at Park Ecovillage Trust are profoundly grateful to our entire community – both near and far – as well as to our partners, donors, and collaborators.
The Sanctuary stands as a testament to our collective resilience,
community spirit, and unwavering commitment to our shared spiritual and
ecological values.
As Kathy beautifully expressed at the blessing ceremony held in October 2023:
“May the Light of Findhorn Sanctuary be a place where each and everyone is welcome, and may the Love of the Sacred prevail in all Hearts that enter into its inner sanctum.”
This is a milestone for us all, and we warmly invite you to come together in
gratitude and celebration as we welcome Light of Findhorn Sanctuary into being.
Join us in-person or online for a special hour-long ceremony, which will include:
An invitation to personally meet and connect to the Light of Findhorn Sanctuary
A guided meditation followed by 20 minutes of silence
Time for reflection and connection with this sacred space
A closing blessing, sending the energy out into the world
(2 ceremonies) 4pm or 6pm (2 ceremonies) | 20 April – Join us outside the Sanctuary to
hold the space in silent presence, or sign up to meditate inside during one of two ceremonies, led by Kathy Tyler (each ceremony accommodates 80 participants).

The Sanctuary will remain open all night, with Guardians present, from 7pm Easter Sunday until 11am, Easter Monday, 21 April (no sign-up required). 11am-closing | Easter Monday, 21 April
Then sanctuary will remain open until its ‘regular’ closing time (approx. 8pm). So there are many opportunities to experience the opening energy of the Light of Findhorn Sanctuary. (no sign-up req.).
Can’t be here in person? Tune in from anywhere! Starting at 3:15pm BST, Yvonne Cuneo will bring you live updates, interviews, and insights before stepping inside the Sanctuary to share this sacred moment with all watching. there will be a recording available afterwards, more details to follow in future announcements.
