A Legacy Reaffirmed

Kathy read aloud Eileen Caddy’s guidance from Easter Sunday, 15 April 1968:

“The Sanctuary is now, and always shall be, a tremendous power house, where power will be generated out to the four corners of the earth. It will become known all over the world and many will be drawn to it, and find great strength and help from the power and radiations which emanate from it. They will find peace and love, light and wisdom, as well as great joy and happiness, from simply being in there. Many problems will be solved as they sit in complete silence, find Me in the midst of them, and come to know Me and Love Me and do My will. My full blessings are upon My Sanctuary, My Ark of the Covenant. Let it be treated as a sacred and consecrated place, where all may find their true selves.”

The Light of Findhorn livestream was attended by more than 400 people around the globe. Here is Karen Grant, recently appointed Light of Findhorn Sanctuary Focaliser, being interviewed for the livestream.

Looking Ahead

This is only the beginning. Light of Findhorn Sanctuary will continue to serve as a space for meditation, contemplation, and spiritual connection – for residents, guests, and global friends alike.

In its first week after opening, the Sanctuary is open for drop-ins. The only scheduled meditation during this week is the Whole Community Meditation, which took place on Wednesday, 23 April, 5–6pm (in-person and on Zoom).

With love and gratitude to everyone who made Light of Findhorn Sanctuary possible, especially our funders and friends around the world who helped bring the light home again.

The Golden Thread

At each of the ceremonies inside the sanctuary, Kathy Tyler led a beautiful meditation on the Golden Thread that links our soul journeys through the Findhorn legacy. The meditation welcomed the presence of the Landscape Angel and the Angel of Findhorn, charging the Sanctuary with global intent to deepen our sacred relationships with all life – seen and unseen. The meditation ended with a blessing.

Light of Findhorn Sanctuary Opening Meditation 

20th – 21st April 2025 

“Eileen, Peter, Dorothy and Lena all followed a Golden Thread, possibly for many lifetimes to bring Findhorn into Being. And we all share some of this spiritual DNA with them, and with all who have come to be touched by the Light of Findhorn.

And, you have been walking a path. It started a long time ago – knowingly and unknowingly you have followed your Golden Thread as it weaves through your spiritual journey and brings you here today. 

Let the memories arise, where you first became aware of Findhorn being animated as part of your life’s journey. When you first heard of Findhorn.

It is woven throughout your story. Sometimes there may have been seeming detours. But all of which brings you back to the essential nature of the Sacred Path you walk, and the seeking of a truth beyond and above your mind. 

The Golden Thread stands for the soul’s knowledge of our intrinsically unfolding Sacred Self and connection with a Great Mystery. And, here at this time, all our paths have led us to being here together today.

Let us welcome the Being as the Light of Findhorn Sanctuary as it now comes into its new physical Presence within our Community. As it lives in and through our hearts – it has a home here on Earth for all to enter and animate the Golden Thread of the Sacred Journey of life.

We welcome the Landscape Angel – the local representative of Gaia that reaches up though the Earth at this very point and the Angel of Findhorn – the Cosmic Presence as it reaches down through time and space at this very point. 

Charging the Light of Findhorn Sanctuary with their Global intent to further the Sacred relationships with all life – seen and unseen. Known and unknown. 

 

May the Light of Findhorn Sanctuary be a place where each and everyone is welcome and may the Love of the Sacred prevail in all Hearts that enter into its inner sanctum. 

 

A true community project, the new sanctuary stands as a symbol of resilience, collaboration, and enduring spiritual vision and every element holds a story – and a blessing.”

Sanctuary Blessing: Opening to Light, Presence, and the Higher Order

We gather now in sacred awareness,
With open hearts and quiet minds,
To consecrate this space – seen and unseen –
As a sanctuary of peace, truth, and light.

We invite the blessing of the Sacred –
The Source beyond all names,
The One Light that gives life to all,
The Infinite Presence that dwells within and around us.

We call forth the unseen beings of light:
The angels who guide with silent grace,
The devas who hold the patterns of nature in beauty and balance,
The elementals, keepers of earth, air, fire, and water,
And the ancestral spirits of wisdom,
Who walk beside us in humility and love.

We honor the Cosmic Consciousness,
The Great Intelligence that moves through stars and silence alike.
May this space become a mirror of the higher order –

Where harmony reigns, where purpose is remembered,
And where the divine plan may unfold.

In the spirit of Findhorn,
We listen to the whisper of the trees,
We attune to the rhythm of the earth,
And we co-create with all that is sacred.

Let this sanctuary be a beacon –
A cradle of healing, clarity, and soul-deep joy.
Let the Light be anchored here,
Strong and soft, eternal and now.

May all who enter feel uplifted,
Held by love, guided by wisdom,
And awakened to the truth of their being.
