PET tenants enjoy a thriving social life with their immediate neighbours

Dear CCC Friends and Community Members,

Many of you will already know about our Caring Community Circle (CCC), a wing of Park Ecovillage Trust (PET), which supports community members in need through practical help, companionship, emotional support, and inspiring wellbeing events at the CCC House.

If you need support this winter season, please reach out. We are here for you!

We also warmly invite new Community Volunteers to join us and continue this essential work of service.

Why Volunteer with Us?
Contributing your time and care can be truly transformative, especially for young people exploring their path in life. Volunteering with the CCC helps you:

  • Develop invaluable life skills;

  • Cultivate empathy and emotional intelligence;

  • Experience the power of human connection;

  • Step into meaningful service and community leadership;

Caring for others is deeply fulfilling for both giver and receiver. If you feel called, please join us. Learn more here: CCC Information

The CCC Over the Years
We are deeply grateful for the pioneering work of former Coordinators Cornelia Featherstone and Laura Shreenan, and community members Barbara Vincent and pals, who helped launch the CCC over 30 years ago. Our Forres CCC group (Forres & Area) still includes several of these dedicated folk.

Warm thanks also to our current CCC Coordinator, Jen Hayward, and to Isabella Guerrini, who supports operations, communications, and fundraising efforts.

A big and heartfelt THANK YOU goes to Jane Gambrill, our Assistant Coordinator, who is retiring after many years of generous and dedicated service.

On Tuesday, 16 December at 2:00 p.m., during our usual Tea & Chat, we will celebrate Jane’s contributions, enjoy a pre-Christmas gathering, and also mark the 8-year milestone of Forres CCC (FCCC). The formal beginning of FCCC took place with the gathering of Forres members at Cluny Sanctuary on 16 December 2017, though the Forres CCC had been active long before that.

All are warmly welcome to join us at the CCC House (formerly the Family House at the Park Ecovillage).

In Jane’s words:

Hello everyone,

After four years of working with the CCC, it now feels like the right time for me to hang up my hat and retire, knowing I am leaving the Circles of Findhorn and Forres in the very capable hands of Jen and the team.

The CCC is a remarkable organisation, and it has been a privilege to contribute to its ongoing development while supporting members of our community

Thank you for all the support I have received from so many of you. I wish you good health and many blessings in your lives.

Warmly,

Jane

Supporting Those Who Need Us Most

At this tender time of year, we focus on community members who may be alone, vulnerable, or simply in need of extra care. For many, our community becomes their family, and your contribution helps ensure no one is left without connection or necessary help.

Please support here: Donate to CCC

Your donation, especially in this reflective season, helps us continue supporting our more vulnerable neighbours.

Season’s Greetings from our wee CCC team,
Leona Graham
CCC Director, Park Ecovillage Trust
